Happy birthday to my mom! 🎂❤️ I hope this next year brings you happiness, good health, and many more dreams coming true. We loved getting to take her out and celebrate together. 🥰
As I get older, I’m starting to realize that some of the little things I grew up with aren’t necessarily “normal” in every family they’re values my parents taught us without ever really saying it.
Like sharing food. 😂 My dad ordered duck and immediately gave some to my mom. I had fish, so we gave some to my parents to try too. We’re always passing our plates around because if something is good, we want everyone we love to taste it too. ❤️
And now I see my kids doing the same thing.
It seems so small, but I love realizing that these little habits are actually traditions and values being passed down through generations.
What’s something your family does that you grew up thinking was completely normal, but later realized was actually part of your family’s culture or values? ❤️
