Up for some Northern Lights tonight or tomorrow??

The strongest solar flare of the year fired off of the sun this morning. This means we could see the Northern Lights tonight after 9pm and again Wednesday night after 6pm. The greatest energy will be during the daylight hours Wednesday (when we won't see it). But we should have good viewing with partly cloudy skies. Look north, take your cell phone and find a dark spot. Follow me on air and on social media. These events come and go, so when we start getting reports, I will send it out. "Snowier near the lake" definitely replaced the usual "cooler near the lake" for Racine and Kenosha Counties this morning. Kenosha canceled school for the day! And yeah, watch the driving down there still, cleanup can take a while.
