On Tuesday, September 1st, we're co-presenting Noche de Migrantes with Pinta Cielo Creative Studios at Villa Arco, 804 W. Greenfield Ave. Doors at 6pm, pay-as-you-can.
It's a stop on the “El Águila y El Cóndor” tour, featuring Audry Funk, one of the leading voices in Spanish-language hip hop, and Ecuadorian-rooted rapper FaceVsIt, alongside Milwaukee artists DJ Skeletone, Ixchelita and Nalani. After the music there's a facilitated community conversation on immigration, identity and belonging.

God Degree Media and Pinta Cielo Creative Studios present Noche de Migrantes, Tuesday, September 1st at Villa Arco.

This one is built around the people who cross borders, put down roots, and keep building anyway. The eagle and the condor, north and south, flying together again.

Headlining is Audry Funk, one of the leading voices in Spanish-language hip hop. She came up in Puebla, Mexico, and now lives in the Bronx, and she has spent over two decades as an independent artist making music about migration, justice, and self-worth. Joining her is FaceVsIt, an Ecuadorian-rooted artist out of Los Angeles who folds classical and Latin composition into his rap. Special guests Ixchelita and Nalani round out the lineup.

This is the “El Aguila y El Condor” tour, and Milwaukee is on it.

Villa Arco, 804 W Greenfield Ave. Doors open at 6pm. Pay as you can, so nobody gets turned away for what’s in their pocket.
