It grows in sunny wet areas near streams or in bogs throughout Northern California and Western Oregon. . This pitcher plant can grow up to 3 feet and turns shades of red and brown with age.”

“The Rae Selling Berry Seed Bank and Plant Conservation Program is dedicated to the conservation and restoration of Pacific Northwest native plants, with an emphasis on the rare and threatened plants of Oregon.

We are a non-profit institution affiliated with Portland State University.

Services we offer include seed banking, rare plant research, and germination and greenhouse trials. We can also offer research opportunities for undergraduate students.

We largely rely on the work of volunteers and the generous donations of our members to continue our mission.”

We will be onsite tomorrow 10-4 to help out with your weekend shopping!
