🧄🧈🐔🧀🎀🍝 Mozzarella Garlic Butter Chicken Bowties in Cheesy Cream
Ingredients
For the Garlic Butter Chicken:
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into cubes or strips)
2 tbsp butter
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp smoked paprika
Salt & black pepper, to taste
For the Cheesy Cream Bowties:
12 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle)
3 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1½ cups heavy cream
4 oz cream cheese (softened)
1 cup shredded mozzarella
½ cup grated Parmesan
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ cup reserved pasta water (if needed)
Salt & pepper, to taste
Optional Garnish:
Fresh parsley
Extra mozzarella or Parmesan
A drizzle of garlic butter
Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Bowties
Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, drain, and set aside.
Step 2: Cook the Garlic Butter Chicken
Season chicken with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
In a skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Sear chicken until golden and cooked through (6–8 minutes). Remove and set aside.
Step 3: Make the Cheesy Cream Sauce
In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant (30 seconds).
Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Mix in cream cheese until smooth.
Add mozzarella, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning. Stir until creamy, using pasta water as needed to thin.
Step 4: Combine Pasta & Chicken
Toss bowtie pasta in the sauce until well coated. Return chicken to the skillet and stir gently.
Step 5: Serve & Garnish
Plate bowties coated in cheesy cream sauce with garlic butter chicken on top. Garnish with parsley and a drizzle of garlic butter.
