reaching the end of the year always makes me feel a bit wistful; 2025 has been awful in many ways, but I was so lucky to be able to visit friends & family over the summer! this moment was a huge highlight - gifting my friend .bear.16 a crochet flowstar!

i ended up writing a pattern for the star that you can find in my etsy - and i've seen so many spiral stars since posting this! i love seeing them in the wild especially :)

hopefully this makes you smile as much as it makes me smile 💛

is it a santa hat? ehhhh kinda. does it fill me with christmas cheer? i mean, yeah, as much as anything can these days 😅

i wrote down what i was doing while i made it, so maybe a kandi tutorial will happen if enough people want it! idk if it's an elf hat, a snow hat, or a clown hat? but it's sure something.
