This week's show - nothing "new" - just did a show, but started it with 's "Bulletproof Backpack" because it 'happened again'. This time kitty corner from where I work before I teach. I went from that job right after, weaving around ambulances to teach because it was the first day of class teaching future teachers to teach and the last thing they need is to not have an instructor because they are in lock down because of another school shooting. It's all beyond fu**ed up. There were 3 shootings just the day before that a few blocks away from the school I teach at. So I got nuthin. Just punk & play it loud. Here's to the lucky ones with another day ahead of them. BTW - they DO make bullet proof backpacks. That's also fu**ed up.

Thank you to this week's bands on air - Local love to MN's own ---> there's a NYC band and they are SO YOUNG but really tapping into that high energy punk sound so they deserved air play - as does from Toronto - i need to check out their earlier stuff now. - perfect song for me "linear song for linear people" as i struggle to be an academic in the linear world of academia. - A throw back re-release from and SOOOOO happy that has this LP now of the 7"s and more

A record i am so obsessed with I stopped hearing referencing them historically to in an abundance of enthusiasm expressed like a moron talking to him about the band he was already talking about.... Dyslexia and ADHD in full force - but how can your brain NOT short out in excitement when you hear that is putting out this release out?!?!? After playing Condor's cover of Vengeance i was in that mood to hear another song with the same title. want a little more 1982 sound in your ear? MURDERS with this new release - a must. YES! about time a new release from - which being in bands like and - how could you go wrong with this french heardcore band? you can't. You need it. Along with has a new release - and another toe tapper for me. LOCAL love going out to 2 bands. making me laugh my ass off with "Mopeds" - who has a release party coming up at soon!!! also has a new release as well leveling the crust like heavy of winter and all it's brutality. played the Wipers - of course and then . has a new release - it does sound a little different but still a band adore and is a go to anytime anywhere. Stoked they have a full length about to come out - just 2 singles right now. - that came out a bit ago but felt good. DAMN - feeling all my feelings for me - I love you for "sad old woman". Speaking of feelings - and with Wrong side. 2 Italian Oi bands on my fave and on the label that well - Ken keeps telling me the show should just be called "and then this came out on and it's my favorite forever and ever". Sorry all - Gotta rush this post because this nerd wakes up at 5am to open the vet clinic just to make sure your pets' blood work looks good - and if not someone knows. just DESTROYED this split. damn. .punk .beat - thank you to all the bands!!!

This week's Radio show is about to start - Starting the show is this new release from .714 which JUST - YES!! So-CAL is back in full force - sounding very 1984 and happy to hear it. Started the show with a double shot of this. Speaking of a classic sound from the UK was Killing it. Had to play a double shot of .band - Killing it form Canada -the whole band sounds like they are rabid along with the singer foaming at the mouth. HxC MUST. This band after you've been thrashing around your room tipping furniture you may need to settle down with a glass of wine and a room full of kittens ... which i did. This record is perfect for that. After you bask in the glory of the chaos you caused - put this on - all on Oi awesomeness from 🍷 Bordeaux 🍷 - I love this release and it is better with foster kittens. Yes, looking for homes. SPAY - NEUTER and VAX a MUST. DM me if you are in town. Yes, because I don't already do enough volunteer work but volunteering keeps the world going round - kicking ass for community and that's why i'm on ... their bastard little one that only this station is brave enough to have on air. If you haven't supported / donated to community radio and you can't get a kitten... this would work too you know. Again, to dogs! I don't know why people say being "sick as a dog" is a thing because only 2nd to cats, they hold back what hurts not to worry their humans like no other. Thank you to for writing the story I listen to every time I miss Eclipse, Max, Seti, Oppy, Kepler... and look at Arrow, Deoxy and the Coup I know its worth it without you I wouldn't have had someone else's words to express the love I have for the world's most serious cube-pooping-doberman because she was that much business but had 2 things she loved.... comfortable things and the color purple. People say dogs can't color, but if you ever saw Oppy at a certain greenhouse - I pity the fool not wearing purple that day. This cut has been on my show repeatedly "dogs" since the 2000's.... (been on radio since 1996) - when my dad got hurt this means even more to me so thank the author for me. One 4 minute story has gotten me through some of the worst days of my life - death, betrayal, defeat.... dogs they are there for you... just like Checkers. Thank you also to the bands (after I'm done now sniffling at my navel like a jerk)

This week's show was recorded... in bed - Flu round 2 - get your damned flu shot people. I always get mine because it just keeps you from dying. So Gratitude while i have a ton of tude at the same time. So much thank you to my brother from another mother and father who has been an exceptional help with everything from helping with shoveling the walk when I was too sick to stand to helping out with my dad. Blood is thickest among punks and I can't thank you enough (And - i know you don't like this photo, but it's my favorite - and the last I have of Oppy) - show dedicated to the only doberman who acted like one. My baby girl who the show's logo is based on. She died on valentines day 2021... miss her every minute - and hate valentines day for one more reason - but this year, I choose love (*of dogs) because it's taken 2 dobes to be one Oppy but one hell of a set of nurses when sick - so valentines day for what you are thankful for matters more. Started the show - Love that there is a .albini connection there RIP
