Down That Road Again
Here I go again…
Down that road not many traveled on,
Where footprints fade and silence heavy as stone.
Ain’t no crowd, just my thoughts and the echoes of my wrongs,
But I walk it proud ‘cause I made my pain strong.
See, I don’t chase validation, I don’t beg for a throne,
I build from the rubble, yeah I stand on my own.
So if the message cut deep, then let it be known,
It’s f**k you, and if it sting, go ‘head — pass it on.
I ain’t got time for fake peace or staged forgiveness,
Ain’t no “let’s talk it out” in this life of resistance.
I move militant, heart scarred but persistent,
And if you cross that line, you get distance — Instant.
So miss me with that weak talk, I’m grown in the fight,
Ain’t no switching sides when the truth in my sight.
And to that pussy-ass n***a tryna play polite
Fix your skirt, homie…
‘Cause real men don’t act lady-like.
I’m from a cloth where loyalty ain’t optional,
Where principles don’t bend for the profitable.
So I walk that road alone, unshakable, unstoppable
Down that path not many traveled on…
Untouchable.
Unapologetically.
Me.
