Get to know the folks holding our community trainings! ✨

The current formation of the facilitators for this training is made up of five people who came together and built the vision of REP in the summer of 2020. There are also skilled organizers, artists, teachers & folks that wear multiple hats who have been building the work of REP since its origin.

In addition, we rely on the wisdom & knowledge of community partners and relationships outside of REP that facilitate and make this training possible.

REP wouldn’t exist without the brilliance of these people and relationships! 💜

Introducing REP Fall 2025 Training: For Community, By Community 🍂🖤

This fall, REP invites you into a space rooted in Dakota and Anishinaabe lifeways, where we practice what our communities have always known: showing up for one another with care, dignity, and respect.

In our fifth year, we continue the work that began in 2020—training community members to respond in moments of crisis with love, not punishment. Together, we’re building systems of repair, connection, and collective strength.

Join us in honoring land, people, and practices that shift us away from disposability toward deep community care.

Go to linktr.ee/REPMN for more information and how to register!

Why a somatic study group? Because we take in so much information each day that we don’t get to deeply process and reflect on. Black August are just us to take a pause from the capitalist grind, reappropriate our energy, and put more of towards Black liberation. It’s about cultivating our discipline and renewing our commitment.

Scroll through the slides to meet our facilitation team for this upcoming session of the REP Radical Study Group. We hope to see you TOMORROW and next Tuesday 8/26 at North Regional Library 6-7:30pm.

đź’ś Black Collective Care is a series of social gatherings hosted at Bichota Coffee for Black folks to convene, connect, and politic together. Consider it a 3rd space.

💜 These sessions are an open opportunity for relationship building, political education, and dreaming of new pathways towards interdependence. Grounded in Black folks’ histories of caring for one another and local realities but always expanding our view to national and global struggles.

đź’ś Feel welcome to attend one, two, or all sessions. All sessions will be a blend of historical reference, open discussion, and a creative activity.

REP Hotline: A Transition

A message from CARERs:

The Revolutionary Emergency Partners (REP) hotline project began in summer 2021. The hotline began as a community dream of care and abolition. And it has been a privilege and honor to be able to offer community care through the hotline response. But REP is now at a point where shifting community needs and funding pressures have opened the conversation of what role the hotline is serving in the community.

The hotline, as it is now, has been receiving few calls and has not been utilized to its full capacity. REP is beginning to dream what might could be the next step. There is no clear plan at this time, but ideas are being explored on how to use our network of volunteers and the technology developed for the hotline, these include offering training in de-escalation, or offering as-needed marshal/de-escalation, and/or using the hotline as a resource-sharing line. CARERs will begin the process of exploring options and including community input to reshape the REP hotline.

The operation of the current REP hotline (7pm–12am live responding on Friday and Saturdays) will pause after June 7, 2025.

If you have interest or concern about future ideation for the REP hotline, please reach out and we will get you connected!

Dear Community,

Five years ago, Relationships Evolving Possibilities (REP) began as a bold conversation in the wake of the 2020 uprisings an abolitionist project rooted in Black love, ancestral knowledge, and radical consent.

We’re looking back on what we’ve built, noticing what’s changing, and offering a glimpse into where we are now.

From our hotline entering a transition, to changes in studio offerings, to dreaming new ways to share our tools through trainings—REP is evolving.

We’re honoring this moment with honesty, gratitude, and a deep commitment to continue practicing community care in ways that reflect our capacity and the community needs of now.

We deeply appreciate you and welcome you to connect with us.
