A fun announcement I’ve been very much looking forward to making:

Some of you know her in real life, some of you from Twitch chat, and many may have seen her as one of the couch commentators in my SGDQ run of Batman: Vengeance.

I met her in the 8th grade. I was transferring into a public school for the first time after attending a private religious school for the first part of my life. We met in English class, sharing similar interests, and she quickly took me under her wing and introduced me to her friends. We quickly became best friends, and formed quite the cadre of scoundrels.

To this day, I credit her with putting me on the right path with my entry to the real school world, helping plant the seeds that turned me into the man I am today.

We reconnected during the pandemic - she saw I’d started streaming and started hanging out in the chat, quickly becoming one of the pillars of this community and becoming again one of my best friends in the world.

She moved back up here from Utah to spend more time with that goofy streamer guy and all of her new, dear friends and Idaho is lucky to have her back.

Well, I’m pleased to say that on Sunday, December 21st 2025, accepted the position as full time couch commentator for not only my speedruns, but also my life.

I’m so lucky to be engaged to one of the most incredible humans this world has ever seen!

We don’t have a date set yet or anything, but will be sure to keep folks updated on our plans. ♥️

I’m still recovering from the trip and will be making a longer post of thank you’s and such later, but I wanted to give a quick shoutout to VIP Game Store for having exactly what we needed in a crisis!

The day before our flight out to SGDQ, I realized my memory cards with the Batman saves were nowhere to be found. We rushed over in a panic and of course VIP had plenty and I was able to make a new save to use in the marathon.

THEN I realized my Wii sensor bar had broken! Chris was able to pop into VIP and grab a new one for the trip, saving the day again.

So, thanks for being awesome VIP crew! Thanks to you, we were able to be prepared for the run and being a small part of raising 2.44 million dollars for an amazing cause. 🤘
