It’s official! The City of Minneapolis Government will recognize the first annual National Black Bookstore Day with a proclamation—and we invite you to celebrate with us at Strive Bookstore on April 7th from 5:00–7:30pm for a Cake & Community Open House.

This is a moment to uplift Black bookstores and the stories that sustain them. We especially invite our local authors—your voices, your books, and your presence are what keep spaces like Strive alive and relevant.
