Steve Almaas was a massive part of the early years of the label. An astounding heart and a stunning talent. One of the foundational pillars of the silver age of Twin Cities music.

Thank you Steve. Our hearts are with your family, but our ears will be glued to you records for a bit.

Our pal Steve passed this afternoon after a long hard battle with cancer. Our hearts go out to Steve's sisters Janet and Judy, Daughter Solveig and TJ, Grandkids Sully and Loa, and Steve's Dear Angel Brandy. Love to all.
