𝐇𝐢 𝐚𝐥𝐥,

Last day in Thailand — feeling bittersweet! This is probably the last time I’ll be traveling with my parents, which makes the trip even more meaningful. It was definitely fun (and not gonna lie, a little stressful at times!), but I’m so grateful for the memories. Got to spend two weeks with my parents and cousins from Canada — who doesn’t love quality family time?

We visited Wat Doi Suthep! The walk up the stairs was “fun” (a bit of a workout!), but it was absolutely worth it. The temple at the top is stunning, and the view over Chiang Mai is incredible!

𝐇𝐢 𝐀𝐥𝐥,

It’s absolutely beautiful here at Dan Tewada (Land of Angels) Waterfall Park! 🌿✨
Even though the waterfall is manmade and it’s a popular tourist destination, it’s still gorgeous! Just about 45 minutes from Chiang Mai, and totally worth the trip!

The park has a cozy little café area, spots where you can feed goats and rabbits 🐐🐇, charming treehouses 🌳, a colorful flower garden 🌸, and so much more. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area!

𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨,

Today we journeyed down to Chiang Mai and made a stop at Hinoki Land along the way. The place features beautiful Japanese-style architecture that’s incredibly scenic and serene. It was peaceful and relaxing—though quite hot! You can even dress up in a kimono there, but we didn’t have time this visit. Highly recommend checking it out if you get the chance!

Today I visited the Golden Triangle, where Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar meet. It’s about a 90-minute drive from Chiang Rai. While it’s interesting from a geographical and historical perspective, unless you have extra time, I’d personally say it’s something you could skip.

Let’s go to the Golden Temple right next to the White Temple! Such a beautiful and dazzling temple! There’s also a fish machine to feed the fish in the water as well! 💛🐠

Yes, I did the most touristy thing to do in Bangkok! But these photos did not disappoint! Can’t wait to share my travel content! I miss this! 🫶🏽

P.S. we got our luggage, thank goodness!

My Story

Hi. My name is Malaya. I'm a 22 year old graduate of Minnesota State University, Mankato in the spring of 2018 living in the Twin Cities, Minnesota. My dream is to help you, whether that's motivational videos, blogs of my past mistakes I've learned from, makeup tutorials, cleaning videos and more.
