A 75-year-old Vietnam veteran is pulled over at a gas station in rural Minnesota on outstanding warrants. When he refuses to exit his truck after a pursuit and PIT maneuver, deputies break his window to extract him. Dennis Hoie then pulls a flare gun and fires toward the officers surrounding his pickup.
