✨Excited to share a new track with you soon!✨🎶 “How Much Longer” was born after a phone call with an old friend. He and I have shared similar journeys—ups and downs, hard-fought battles for sobriety, and an unwavering love for music.During the reflective conversation, he said to me, “I just thought we’d be closer to our dreams by now.” 🌟This hit me like a bolt of lightning, and I felt the tears well up in my eyes. I realized so many people rarely get to shine their true light, due to many different circumstances.Though this song has its melancholy origins, I found that it ended up more of an anthem for taking opportunities when they present themselves and having faith in your own inner voice of truth. 💡✨

I’ve been enjoying the nightly call to creation 🎶✨ that are my studio sessions.

For a long time, I lambasted myself for finding ways to not be productive in a space that I was truly passionate about. 😔 Procrastinating and creating false prerequisites to even start the creative process was an issue. The core reason… it’s hard! 💡💪

It takes consistently digging deep, real focus, and an acceptance of the inevitable disappointment that not everything will turn out as grand as you hoped. 🌀🎨

Luckily, when the calling is true, it won’t leave you alone until you do something about it. 🕊️ That’s why I’m grateful for the learned ability to be comfortable with the outcome, whether it reaches lofty expectations or not. To feel at home in a space where you belong to be is the real success. 🌟🎧

It’s funny to think this video was taken 3,333 days ago. Me in my home studio, half-baked and afternoon drunk on vodka, was the seed of “The Possibilities.” 🌱 At that time it was just a faint light, a fantasy of better things 🌟—known to be possible, but yet to be realized.

The path to the finish was always uncertain, and not without many unignorable burdens. 🌀 It was the healing love and compassion of the people who cared for me most ❤️‍🩹 that got the ball rolling, but it was the compassion I showed myself that made it a reality. ✨

This song is for the people who struggle with drug/alcohol addiction, mental health/self-worth, and the constant grind our perceived reality puts on our dreams. 🕊️💭 The good news is, we’re good at healing when we get to the other side of ourselves. Let that be the NEW reality! 🌈

As I travel along this creative path, I'm forced to learn something about the process every day. Lately I've asked myself, what am I looking for in devoting myself to realizing this music? There are many angles to take in today's age of sharing creativity, most have to do with overwhelming amounts of self-promotion and posting on social media. Even as I try to learn as much as I can about those things (while accumulating the associated stress that comes with them) I'm reminded of my main goal... To inspire anyone who wants to listen to explore and expound their inner light and unique gifts. I want to be a part of a community that supports and supplies the small nudge of encouragement forward, which is usually all it takes. This is my hope, and I will continue to offer all I have to move closer to realizing that reality.💜
