From the City of Minot:

On Dec. 14 at approximately 11:17 p.m., the Minot Fire Department responded to a report of a vehicle on fire in the parking lot of a southeast Minot hotel.

Engine 2 arrived on scene within five minutes of the initial dispatch and found the front of the vehicle engulfed in flames. Crews were advised that there were no occupants in the vehicle prior to arrival and immediately began extinguishing the fire using a bumper line.

The vehicle was not located near any buildings or other vehicles, allowing the damage to be contained to the vehicle itself.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
