Herbscapes This is a business project I do in my spare time. One day it might grow to something bigger. inbox me.

The Rosemary Coast Project is a city-beautification and wellness initiative to plant rosemary throughout Mobile, Alabama—creating greener streets, supporting pollinators, and bringing the calm, clean fragrance of rosemary into everyday life. Want to spruce up your mailbox area with some herbs you can use in the kitchen?

Most everyone likes cooking with herbs but as every chef knows, there's a time when to place them on the dish. If sprinkled too soon, some herbs can lose their flavor. If too late, some herbs won't infuse enough to give the dish its oils. Two herbs that come to mind: Basil and rosemary. My experience has been Basil is best fresh or barely heated, while rosemary, with its tough piney needles can simmer for some time and release its contribution to the dish. Now, there's one special leaf all good cooks use in their spaghetti sauce but when do you drop the bay leaf in? (Photos: Herbscapes.com)

As a coffee drinker, the idea of growing your own coffee beans is very appealing. I bought some plugs and they are growing well. Of course they will need the greenhouse during peak winter, and it will take several years to mature with bean pods.
