Let's Love Chinchillas & More Passionate about chinchilla care & rescue. We volunteer with Cali_FID to help save, rehab & rehome chinchillas in need. Follow for tips, stories & adoptables.

We are not a rescue on our own but do operate under a local rescue. We're fosters for the rescue, as well as the rescue's adoption and foster home coordinators. We do our best to aid the Chinchillas that are moved through they system. We are simply Chinchilla enthusists ( and other animals ) who want to share about animals and help out owners.

I know, I know, I come on here once a month or so and totally TANK my engagement by showing you all the OTHER animals helps in the central valley, but I just want you to see that we're doing more than playing with Chinchillas. Chinchillas are just MY little passion and why I created this bloggy-style page.

Jazz is the red macaw, and has a injured wing.

Saffie is the blue macaw, and has a twisted beak.

They're both available for adoption with the rescue to the right home committed to loving them despite their flaws.

💜 you'll have to reach out to the rescue directly because I do not handle the parrots and am slightly terrified of them ( but it's getting better ).

Anyone looking for guineas to adopt?
I know that sentence is just... Music to your ears with the recent news about the 400-500 down in LA. Truth is, California guinea pig rescues are riding the struggle bus with Guinea Pigs.

We've ( ) have lost most of our guinea pig foster homes and are unable to help with most guinea pig requests ( life has found a way to get complicated for our foster families, and we understand the reasons they've needed to step down. )

Fluffy is my FAVORITE bunny in the rescue and I've been pushing for him to find a family for months now. If I ( volunteer Amber ) could adopt rabbits, I would have taken him home in a heartbeat but I cannot ( foster for chins, prey driven dogs and nowhere to separate them apart 😭 )

So I'm looking for a bunny family for him! Anyone looking to adopt a blanket bunny who'll sit with you for a whole movie, appreciate all the toys you give him, and give you chin kisses?

He would make an excellent therapy bunny, or class pet for the right classroom!

This rescue in AZ is no longer able to help chinchillas due to allergies.

They have two single dental chins and a bonded pair of chins. I believe they're going to stick to their commitment to care for the dental chins until the end of their lives but the bonded pair of healthy chins will be looking for a home together.

If you're in AZ, maybe reach out and inquire about adopting.
