Y’all really wanna know how I water myself? 👀🌿

Well, I start my Sunday like an Akoko Market… stay with me because it gets a lil’ BAZAAR sometimes 🤪🧘🏾‍♀️

Regulated nervous system ✅😆

I’ve seen this DIY project done a few different ways, usually on square trays, but I’m a sucker for circular shapes. When I spotted this beautiful wooden snack tray at my local thrift store, I knew I had to grab it!

So far, you’ve seen me turn a thrifted glass block into a mini terrarium and a wooden snack tray into a propagation station. Now, what do you think I have planned for the brand new filing cabinet I found? 👀

One last question… would you go thrifting with me? 🤷🏾‍♀️

Sometimes, while I’m tending to my plants, I’m reminded that caring for them is a lot like caring for myself. 🌿

Friday’s affirmation: I can always find time to water myself, regardless of the day, the time, or how busy life gets. 🌱

Part 2 of my weekend thrift haul! 🌿

Remember the glass block I picked up while thrifting? These blocks were originally used in construction for windows and walls, but now they’re being reproduced as decorative vases and terrarium vessels in craft stores. I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to give it a try as a terrarium!

The best part of this is that my 5 year old actually put this entire terrarium together herself! I offered a little guidance, or at least whatever guidance she was willing to accept from me.

Watching her creativity take over and seeing her bring her own vision to life made this project even more special.

One thrifted find, a little imagination and a whole lot of creative freedom. 🌱

Stay tuned because there’s more to come from this thrift haul!

Would you use one as a terrarium or something else? What do you think I did with the snack tray? Tell us in the comments below ⬇️👇🏾.

I’m entertained. 😆

Meanwhile, my birds are getting hand delivered protein like they pay the mortgage. 😂
