"Taste of Oktober" Project 360 Youth Services put on an incredible event last night for an incredible cause. It was a great time with plenty of great food. I'd like to give a shoutout to Smokin Jones BBQ and Wrinks Pies Lebanon because, brotha, he dropped a banger last night with his "Brisket pot pie". I was super impressed by that dish, which is why he won. My other favorite spot in town, Brickhouse Grill, made a "peanut butter pie". I mean, it's like they know me, lmao. But to wrap this up, I will say I absolutely love the Lebanon community, and I'm so glad I can contribute in some way, even if it's with food. I meet a lot of you all when I'm out and about, and hearing how you all love my page definitely means the world because my page isn't about me, it's about each and every spot I visit and highlight. I'm simply just a guy who likes to eat and tell you all about it. 😮‍💨😮‍💨

So yesterday I decided to continue my Reuben tour in town. Can I say Lebanon has a plethora of spots the offer of Ruben sandwiches which I just absolutely love but as most of y’all know, I am a lover of Ruben sandwiches but I will say this is the first time in a long time that I’ve eaten a Reuben sandwich that has definitely taken me back to when when I was a teenager well 13 that’s when my love started. I took a trip back to Illinois where I’m from and my uncle took me to a spot in my hometown that one of their specialties was a Ruben. He kept telling me you gotta try it obviously I was skeptical at first, but after that first bite chefs, kiss.


Reuben highlight ✍🏾 📄

-Reuben sandwich the corned beef was tender. The bread was toasted perfectly obviously the thousand is just a cherry on top is everything you want out of a Reuben sandwich like literally after one bite of the sandwich I instantly thought of the first time I ate a Reuben sandwich so that is saying a lot so kudos whoever constructed the sandwich.

Bonus review

-Ranch can we say our area if we do anything right we make some great ranch I don’t care what anybody says argue with yourself. This by far is some of the best wrench in our area or even surrounding areas. We all know Wingstop Ranch is white gold and I swear to you this is just as good as Wingstop Ranch. My son took a little taste of this last night and instantly thought it was Wingstop Ranch without me even say a word.

Overall: now I see there’s a lot of chatter about a lot of peoples experiences at Elm Street, but I can say for myself I’ve had nothing but great experiences now usually I eat breakfast there that’s all I’ve ever eaten actually this is the first time I’ve eaten anything outside of that and I was definitely impressed so can’t wait to go back and try a patty, melt or something.
