We had an amazing time with all of you at our very first Film and Broadcast Production Camp this week! ✨

Thank you to all of our campers for making this week so special, and for giving it your all. It was wonderful to be able to watch you grow your knowledge and skill in creative arts, and we hope you are able to use the knowledge you gained as you grow! 🎥🎤

We’re going up on a Tuesday 🎶

The DEV Group and Bchiratv are proud to bring the first-ever 🎥 Video and Broadcast Production Camp to SMCC!

Day 1 and 2 are in the books ✅ and this crew is off to a great start.

Day 2, we had breaking news 🚨—right outside our window! The City of Monroe Public Safety Department held their Splash Bash 💦 🚒at St. Mary’s Park. We brought the students over, and they jumped into action, producing a quick MCNN story on the event 🎬📹.

Throughout the day, campers also interviewed coaches and student-athletes from the Wrestling 🤼 and Girls Basketball 🏀 Camps happening on campus.

It’s been amazing to watch these students grow in confidence and curiosity with a mic 🎤 and camera 📸 in hand.

Tomorrow we edit ✂️. Then we roll the final cuts 🎞️🎉!
