Based in Montclair, the Globs are a band of winners. They’ve got terrific wives, nice houses, strapping sons, intelligent daughters and their own cars and bicycles.

Out today! The debut single from Crash Harmony - the pre-Dambuilders band that Dave Derby (gramercy arms) formed while attending Yale in the late 1980s.

In 2022, Crash Harmony reunited after Derby was stunned to learn that lead guitarist Michael Potenza was living in Montclair and recording with me at Magic Door.

The pair hatched the idea to get the rhythm section together to record an album of songs from that era.

A few weeks back they filmed a video for "Velour Goddess" - directed by Dan Karlok.
