Sometimes the best trip is the one that’s only an hour and change away. We checked into The St. Laurent Social Club in Asbury Park for a little adults only reset and honestly, I didn’t want to check out.

Stopping into The Cake Bake Shop on the Boardwalk at Walt Disney World was such a treat. The space is stunning, the desserts look like little works of art, and we couldn’t leave without grabbing a drink and a souvenir.

They do have a restaurant on site too, we didn’t get a chance to eat this time, so if that’s something you want to try, make sure to book your reservation early. The shop itself is walk in, so no reservation needed if you just want to browse and grab something sweet.

A day at Discovery Cove was such a great day in Orlando with Visit Orlando. From our own private cabana to feeding the birds in the aviary, swimming with dolphins, and snorkeling in the Grand Reef with fish and stingrays, this place is unlike any other theme park experience.

We loaded up the whole crew in the 2026 Volkswagen USA 2.0 SEL and hit the highway towards Williamsport for the and honestly this might be one of the best road trip vehicle we’ve had yet. Roomy enough for all our gear and it was smooth ride.

It was so special watching those boys play ball on that iconic Williamsport field. If you’ve never made the trip to LLWS, put it on your family bucket list, it’s pure magic.
