A Broward County family is grieving after a lightning strike killed a beautiful 31-year-old mother and one of her 2-year-old twin daughters in a Margate driveway over the weekend. 💔
Margate police said Kenya Glasgow and her daughter, Kennedy Rose, were struck on Northwest First Street. Kenya’s husband, Kameron Glasgow, said he was just feet away when it happened. Both were rushed to separate hospitals, where they later died.
A neighbor said he heard the strike and saw an orange glow before finding Kenya on the ground. Kameron described his wife as someone with “the biggest heart in the world” and remembered both his wife and daughter as amazing people.
In a Facebook tribute, he wrote that he had lost his best friend and that their surviving daughter had lost hers. Police have not released additional details as the investigation continues. (cc for 🎥)
