One of the hardest parts of being a teacher is the end of year goodbyes. Especially where I am now with such a large military population, I say goodbye to a good chunk of my students each May as they move to their next duty station.

This beautiful cup was gifted to me today by an adult student who, like me, is a mom of young children, and chose to take lessons as a creative outlet. I have had the privilege of seeing her blossom and grow so much in her musical abilities over this past year. And now she is headed out, and I so hope she is able to find a teacher to continue her journey.

So many other students this year were experiencing their first time in music education of any type, and the wonder and pleasure I got to experience in each of their lessons is amazing. I am so, so blessed to have this opportunity to pour my love for music in to so many other lives, and I do not take that for granted. Ever. Thank you to all my students, past and present, for allowing me the honor of teaching 💕

Finally bit the bullet and created a tpt storefront for the strings resources I have been creating over the last couple of years. Excited to finally share some of my fun creations with other teachers.

Does your homeschool student need a music credit this fall? Are they interested in music but don't want to commit to an instrument quite yet?

This year I am offering a 10 week group music class for homeschool students on Thursday mornings from 9:00-9:45am. Students will learn about rhythm, melody, and expressive elements, and how they all work together to create what we know as music. We will work with body percussion activities, singing, written elements, and games at each session.

The cost will be $240/student for the full 10 week semeter, which can be payed in four installments of $60 each if needed.

I need a minimum of 5 students to commit to be able to offer this class, so talk with your friends and register together. If there is enough interest I will look in to offering another session on Wednesday mornings as well.
