Arkansas Weather Network, a 24/7 statewide digital weather operation will launch later this month on December 13th!

I’m happy to share that I’ve partnered with Zachary Hall - Arkansas Storm Tracker and Blaze Thomas Weather to make this network a reality.

This will be a FREE platform that includes a great weather app for your phone, an app for your smart TV (Roku/firestick/apple), and live streams during any life threatening weather.

It doesn’t matter what tv market you have been zoned for, this is a weather platform that is owned by Arkansans FOR Arkansas!

No matter what city or county, your town matters.

This team will post regular weather updates to our streaming channel, app, and all social media platforms so you get the information you need.

During times of life threatening weather, we will use some of the best radar technology on the market today to track storms across Arkansas.

There are some incredible Arkansas businesses who are also partnered with us to make this happen.

First Community Bank took care of us and has made it possible for Arkansans to have access to some of the best radar data in the world.

I’d also like to thank TCW , Airmasters of Arkansas , and @13:12 Cleaning & Restoration, LLC , official sponsors of the Arkansas Weather Network. None of this would be possible without them.

Blaze, Zach, and I will produce weather content to this platform daily, no matter how busy or slow the weather is.

Over the Thanksgiving holiday, food items were donated by the Louis Bryant Chapter of the National Black State Troopers Coalition to Pastor Artis Fletcher Sr. of the Mt. Holly Circuit, where they will be distributed to a family in need within the community.

A heartfelt thank you to Cpl. Seawood, Cpl. Briggs, Cpl. Love, TFC Moore, TFC Pratt, and Trp. Jynes of Troop E for their participation and support in making this effort possible.

Service doesn’t stop at the badge. We’re proud to stand beside the communities we serve.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Ouachita County from 6:00 a.m. Monday until 6:00 a.m. Tuesday.

According to the latest National Weather Service forecast, freezing rain is expected in the area, although ice accumulations are expected to be just a few hundredths of an inch. Little or no snow or sleet accumulation is expected.

Use caution when traveling, especially on bridges, overpasses, and under-road culverts. Drive slowly, leave plenty of distance to the vehicle ahead, and allow plenty of extra time to get to your destination.

A Winter Weather Advisory is issued when periods of snow, sleet, or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties.
