DID YOU KNOW⁉️- On this day in 2001 (Day Before 9/11), what the weather was like in New York City. A strong thunderstorm hit the city from the Outer Bands of Hurricane as it was moving up the East Coast. This caused mass cancellations of hundreds of flights on the US East Coast.

Nobody in NYC went to bed suspecting how the World would change forever the next day.

THE COLD FRONT IS HERE‼️ And it’s such a welcome sight here in , , and some of North !! Temperatures yesterday were record highs well into the 100s and seeing temperatures in the 60s,70s, and 80s as the cold front slowly sags south!!

That’s a 15-30 degree temperature drop for many!! Along with some much wanted rain/storms!!

COLD FRONT ALERT🚨 & STORMS⛈️- Tomorrow Afternoon (Thursday), a COLD (COOL) FRONT will sweep southward and perhaps trigger some much-welcomed STORMS⛈️ across , , , and !!

Latest data still suggests a 24-hour temperature drop of up to 25 degrees in some places, with temperatures falling from record heat in the 100s into a more seasonal range of the 80s and 90s as the front slowly moves southward! This is NOT THE ONLY COLD FRONT‼️ I'm tracking; a stronger front may move in next week!

COLD FRONT STORMS‼️- May trigger some isolated severe weather later this afternoon & evening (4pm-11pm). Greatest Chances for severe weather will be across , , and Western along Lake Erie, where we may even see a TORNADO OR TWO🌪️, along with some DAMAGING WIND GUSTS up to 70MPH💨.

🔴Further west, along the cold front, will also spark some scattered thunderstorms that will be more isolated severe threat with some hail & wind! This includes , , and into the Ohio Valley. This will temporarily drop temperatures into your Thursday as well!

URGENT UPDATE🚨‼️-Thunderstorms should gradually increase in coverage and intensity across and Eastern as a surface cold front approaches. The strongest storms may be accompanied by at least a few severe gusts up to 60-70MPH and perhaps A TORNADO OR TWO🌪️. Convective trends are being monitored for the need of a Watch issuance by the NWS.

COLD FRONT ALERT🚨- Finally, I have some good news to share!! Even if it only lasts a day. But a COLD FRONT will sweep southward on Thursday, and data shows it reaching as far south as , , , and the Valley!!

Where places have been 100F+ will be more seasonal, into the Mid-Upper 80s and low 90s on Thursday Afternoon!! Sadly, it won't last long, but I am tracking more cold fronts later in the month!!
