On average, we begin to see a slight uptick in tornado activity as the jet stream begins to return to the Central US as the number of cold fronts increase. That’s where you see the highest chances of seeing a tornado during the month of September and along the Gulf Coast due to tropical cyclone induced tornado outbreaks!
