Students and staff gathered to honor those who have served during this year’s Veterans Day Assembly, hosted by the Student Council. The program featured performances by the JH & HS Choir and Band, a Preamble recitation and songs from the Elementary, keynote remarks from Navy veteran Bill Grice, and an art presentation by senior Emily Eilers.

The Mooreland Mechacats held their first robotics meet this weekend, welcoming 11 teams to compete! Each round featured randomized team pairings, where robots worked together to play both offense and defense.
This year’s challenge involved collecting “artifacts” (large wiffle balls) and launching them into a goal — an exciting start to what’s sure to be a great season ahead! 🤖💙
