Jennifer David for Hoosiers with Disabilities My name is Jennifer David and I am running for the Indiana House of Representatives for District 66.

Jennifer is a businesswoman & Board-Certified Behavior Analyst with a background in social work & special education including post graduate studies Autism and Applied Behavior Analyst & was also a 2024 candidate for the Indiana House of Representatives. I am proud to be running on the Democrat ticket in the PRIMARY on May 7th, 2024. The Democratic party is passionate about making choices that dire

ctly impact our lives and our rights, particularly when it comes to reproductive rights and accessible healthcare. We are the party of compassion, and we value the lives of all people, especially our most vulnerable citizens. As a mother, grandmother, business owner, social worker, behavior analyst, and Hoosier, I have felt the call to run for the Indiana House of Representatives for District 66 because the decisions that are being made at the state capitol affect all our lives and the lives of those we love. It's important that we have leaders who truly care about the people they serve and are willing to fight for their rights and well-being. I am that person and I humbly ask for your vote on primary election day, May 7, 2024, or earlier if you requested an absentee ballot or are an early voter. Together, we can create a brighter future for ALL Hoosiers when you vote for Jennifer David for the Indiana House of Representatives for District 66!

⚠️ Indiana Mental Health at Risk
$115/hr → $65/hr counseling reimbursement?

Anthem says no cuts for now, but Carelon’s new fee schedule raises big concerns for access to care in Indiana.

Indiana providers were told counseling reimbursement could drop from about $115 to just $65 an hour. Anthem insists their rates are not changing right now, but the shift to Carelon has already shown the lower fee schedule. Advocates worry this could limit mental health access if providers can’t afford to stay in network.

Following a recent email to mental healthcare providers, some are worried they could be put out of business.

You might not feel the impact yet, but big cuts to Medicaid are in the new budget bill, and the timeline to implement is on the way.

This isn’t just about numbers in a budget. It means states will have less money for Medicaid programs, fewer people getting the care they need, and fewer families getting the support they rely on to stay afloat. People with disabilities rely on services such as home and community-based services, which are optional for states to fund. States are going to have to face budget choices in the coming years.

People with disabilities and their families are watching closely because these decisions will shape lives for years to come.

Once programs are cut, it’s hard to bring them back. The long-term effect will be felt by millions.
