Indiana Fury Fastpitch – Looking Ahead to 2026–2027 Season (11B)
As we head into next season, I want to be real for a minute.
Last year was tough. Not because of the girls — but because of things off the field. We dealt with negativity from the sidelines, comments that should never be said about kids, and attitudes that don’t align with what this program stands for. That stops here.
At Indiana Fury, we have zero tolerance for bullying — from players or parents. Period.
We believe in accountability. We also hold our athletes to a standard — and that includes how they speak to each other, to coaches, and even to their own parents. Respect matters. Always.
Now let’s talk development.
If your goal is to play at a higher level — especially at 11B — it takes more than just showing up to practice.
Pitchers need pitching lessons
Catchers need catching lessons
EVERYONE needs batting lessons
There’s no shortcut around that. Commitment outside of practice is what separates players.
Also — let’s be clear:
Equal playing time and fair playing time are NOT the same thing.
We are building competitors, not participation trophies.
As owners, we balance each other well.
Coach Kevin is focused on teaching, breaking things down, and developing the girls the right way.
Coach Melissa likes to push intensity, effort, and for these girls to step on the field ready to dominate.
We started this journey in 9U, taking on a group that had to move up quickly. It wasn’t easy. We had to make tough decisions, remove families that weren’t a fit, and rebuild heading into spring.
And here’s the truth:
We’re not a big organization. We’re one team.
But that comes with advantages:
We control our costs
We control our direction
We answer to no one but our standards
And those standards are high.
As we move into the 2026–2027 season at 11B, we are looking for:
Committed players
Supportive, positive families
Athletes who want to be coached and held accountable
Girls who want to grow, compete, and be pushed
If that’s you — we’d love to talk.
