The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Monday, March 9 — Jack Trades a Kiss for Patty’s Yacht Tour
On Monday’s The Young and the Restless, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) tries to turn his captivity on Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) yacht into an advantage—by striking a deal with Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk). Meanwhile, back in Genoa City, the Abbotts get a new lead as they work to solve Jack’s kidnapping drama.
Jack is trapped on the yacht, with Victor demanding that Chancellor be signed over immediately. The problem? Chancellor isn’t Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) to give—Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) still controls it. Billy confronts Phyllis with the news of Jack’s abduction, warning her she needs to lock in the contract. Phyllis might suspect either Victor is bluffing or that Billy has his own game plan, but Billy insists Jack really has been kidnapped and that Phyllis could be responsible if anything happens to him.
Meanwhile, Patty has her own shocking story about how she ended up on Victor’s yacht. She seems to be in a better mental place than the last time fans saw her—but her dangerous side is far from gone. With her obsession with Jack reignited, Victor may be using it to his advantage. Jack, however, isn’t above playing his own game, cozying up to Patty to get what he needs.
Jack complains about being locked in and suggests they could have more fun together if Patty gives him a full tour of the yacht. Patty requests a kiss in return, and Jack promises one if she agrees. If Jack can get Patty to let him out of the sleeping quarters, he might find a phone—or even get her to admit he’s on Lake Michigan, confirming his suspicions.
Back in Genoa City, Billy receives a message that could point the Abbotts to Jack’s location. While Billy worries it might be a trap, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) insist they have no choice but to follow the lead.
The Abbotts will stop at nothing to help Jack, and Monday’s episode promises plenty of suspense and strategic moves—so fans won’t want to miss a moment.
