🧩If your an autism parent then you know it’s extremely difficult to take you’re kids to alot of places in the summer. IYKYK. 🫠
All the kids at a pool can overstimulate your child and then your packing your stuff up and leaving. You’re worrying about your child the whole time and you can’t relax yourself.
Yeah, I’ve been there.
So this summer I’ve made it easy for my kids to have fun and I’m also able to relax right beside of them.
It’s a win 🥇

And no he is not zipped up, he can get out whenever he wants.
The sickness has gotten him now and he’s just wanting to chill in the bed on his iPad.
I honestly don’t blame him (those beds are COMFORTABLE)

I’m just gonna say it.
Medicaid, social security, and the government could care less about disabled children.
Every month I have to fight to keep my kids Medicaid. And before you start saying, “you’re lazy, taking from the government, get a job.” Just don’t.
If we were to pay out of pocket monthly for all the therapies and everything they need it would be outrageous. I’m talking thousands or more.
I got a letter in the mail yesterday that they were taking my son’s Medicaid away. And honestly it just ticks me off. I see families that are actually taking the government for granted and then I see families that actually need the help being put on the back burner.
This world is so backwards. 😭😭 I’m so stressed.

If a dad needs to take his daughter to the restroom, the women’s restroom is exactly where they should go.

Knock on the door. Announce yourself.

“Girl dad coming in with my daughter.”

Give anyone a chance to exit if they’re uncomfortable, then take care of your child.

A little girl shouldn’t have to walk into a men’s restroom because adults are worried about what strangers might think.

The goal isn’t to make everyone comfortable.

The goal is to keep your child safe.

And the child goes where the parent can safely supervise them.

Last night and this morning have been a nightmare.
I coughed all night and couldn’t sleep, Ellie woke up at 3am, @4 am my nose started bleeding in my sleep and it woke me up, and for breakfast I ordered a gravy biscuit and they sent me a biscuit with mash potato gravy (I still ate it LOL).
I’m so ready for the sickness to go away because I’ve had enough! 🥴😅
