On May 20, 2014, WLBQ-AM was granted a construction permit for a new FM translator, W268CE, licensed to Morgantown, broadcasting at 101.5 on the FM dial, operating on 250 watts of effective radiated power, The new translator signed on the air on the August 21, 2014 as the Q 101.5 was born. We are your only source for the best coverage of News, Weathers and Sports in Butler County. Since 1979 we signed onto the air waves as WLBQ 1570 AM. Then in August of 2014, WLBQ obtained a FM translator and the “new” Q was born under the 101.5 frequency. In 2019, we have expanded our coverage to the entirety of Butler County with a translator on the north side with the frequency 103.5.
We have fast and up-to-date coverage of the events happening in and around butler county. Thanks to all the sponsors, we are able to bring you the best broadcasting of High School Sporting events, such as Football, Basketball, Baseball and Softball.
