Right on the corner of South and Elm Street is a Morristown gem. For three years, Baklava Cafe has served the community with dishes like a savory Manti or a sweet Mosaic Cake. With a loyal customer base built up, the charming Turkish cafe is getting a rebrand as “Filiz Cafe and All Day Kitchen.” The heart of the cafe has always lived in the family that runs it, with the powerhouse chef matriarch at the helm — the new name more accurately reflects and celebrates the talented chef. It was a huge pleasure to see the grand opening, and we here at the Pulse encourage everyone to stop in and indulge in the delicious food, truly made from a place of joyful expression.
