A bridal editorial in a cat café was always going to be a little unpredictable.

We pulled together a fun team willing to try something new, vintage-inspired styling, a gorgeous gown, beautiful florals, and a few cats who were absolutely not interested in following direction.

And honestly, that made it better.

Cameron + Andrew’s wedding day had full “Lover” energy.

Soft, romantic, a little cinematic, and completely theirs from beginning to end. From the ceremony at The Barns at Timberneck to sunset portraits and one last private dance, the whole day felt like stepping into the kind of love story people write songs about.

The cameras matter.
The experience matters more.

Rule 13: The story is made in the edit.

Most documentaries start as organized chaos.

Hours of footage.
Random conversations.
Moments that feel important but don’t fully make sense yet.

Then the edit starts connecting the dots.

One reaction changes a scene.
One cut changes the meaning.
One piece of audio suddenly becomes the emotional backbone of the entire film.

The camera collects material.
The edit finds the truth.

That mindset shapes how I film weddings too. I’m not chasing staged moments all day. I’m collecting real material so the story can actually breathe in post.
