✨Anybody remember our post from beginning of May about Cash, our little sole hatchling from shipped eggs that was pretty significantly injured? Well, we were CERTAIN he was a little rooster and I figured it was just my luck that the one of 28 that hatched from my $120 shipped eggs would be a rooster.

Well, definitely NOT a rooster, and she is doing AMAZING!

She has revealed herself to be an adorable little rumpless hen with A LOT to say, and a loud voice to say it! The last few days, she’s been spending some time inside during the day checking out the nesting boxes, so we’re expecting her first egg any day now 😍

🩶This little chicken, and how well she’s recovered after such a rough start, brings me so much joy🩶

I’m a firm believer that the reason we still have good egg production despite everyone going through molt is because we provide nutrition support and extra protein to the ladies to help support them.
