i looked at the address and its showing near county road 460 but a town creek address, the other direction is the dollar general and gas station on hwy 24 in mt hope
canine is almost on scene
dispatch is able to see everyones location and able to see what theyre around and can tell them where to search and what theyre near and which officer is near them
have him in a field running towards 101

sounded like officer said theres a red brick and a black colored house near the DOT station i think he said
in the middle of the field by the black house

On Saturday evening, March 14, 2026, Morgan County 911 recieved a call referencing a residence in Lacey's Spring indicating that:
▪️a subject had shot their family
▪️Barricaded themselves
▪️shooting others
▪️planning to shoot neighbors

Dispatch notified MCSO and others:
▪️Deputies responded, surrounding residence
▪️Investigators Notified
▪️EMS/VFD staged,
▪️Air Evac went en route,
▪️SWAT Notified
▪️neighboring agencies notified and were en route
▪️Calltakers and Dispatchers continued to handle the call
▪️Helicopter landed awaiting victims
....and it was all fake‼️

This fake event tied up numerous lifesaving resources from Deputies, EMS/VFD, Phone Lines, Dispatch Consoles, Air Evac Helicoptors etc

Swatting, as it is called, is the dangerous, illegal act of making false reports to emergency services to trigger a heavy, armed police response (SWAT team) at a target’s address. Usually, motivated by harassment, revenge, or thrill-seeking. It causes severe trauma and threatens public safety.

Investigators are working with to identifty those involved. When located, they will be charged to the fullest extent allowed under Alabama law.
