Got to watch the Moon slowly change throughout tonight’s lunar eclipse from Southern Indiana! It was pretty cool seeing the different stages as the Earth’s shadow moved across the Moon. 🌒

Did anyone else get a chance to see it tonight? If you took any photos, drop them below! I’d love to see what it looked like from everyone!

My parents wanted to watch Never Stop Chasing with us last night… which was probably a terrible idea for their nerves...🫣
These are the same people who drove me to Skywarn classes when I was 15 and stayed through the whole thing. They encouraged the weather obsession from day 1.
After watching Reed Timmer’s movie and seeing the raw reality of chasing, I can officially say my parents are a lot more nervous now. It really shows the side of chasing that you don’t always think about. How quickly things can turn dangerous, the destruction these storms can cause, and the fact that even experienced chasers can end up in some seriously bad situations.

This was the first text I got this morning from my mom regarding my stepdad Danny. So yeah… Mom and Dad, I apologize in advance for every future chase where you’re sitting at home watching my location and wondering what the hell I’m doing. Just remember, you've encouraged this s**t since 2016! 😂
but more importantly 🧡

Shelf cloud near Sturdivant, MO just a short bit ago as severe storms moved through! 🌩️
This storm was very electrical, with nonstop lightning lighting up the sky. I’ll be posting a video of that later! ⚡

Saw some pretty wild cloud iridescence again today, this time in Evansville! 🌈☁️
Apparently the sky is really committed to showing off this week, but I'm not complaining! 😅

I was able to capture some cloud iridescence this afternoon! These colorful patches happen when sunlight passes through tiny water droplets or ice crystals in a cloud, bending and scattering the light to create those beautiful pastel colors.
It’s always worth taking a second to look up, the sky puts on some pretty cool shows when you least expect it.
What did everyone else spot today?

A look back at the Sullivan County (Paxton, Indiana area) tornado from February 19, 2026. I realized I never shared this footage to this page, so here it is!

One thing that really stood out after the tornado was the blanket of hail left behind. There was so much hail covering the ground that it produced a layer of fog, making for a pretty incredible scene in the storm's aftermath! 🌫🌪
