🌄 Today’s Sounds of Gretna: Sunset from the Tower
We’re climbing to the top of the Governor Dick tower for a summertime soundscape. Most days, the view is all about the horizon — five counties stretching out in every direction. But on this evening, the true show is in the sky. Watch as the peachy light of a Gretna summer sunset melts into the shadowy hills. Be still, and let it soak in, bathed in the the natural symphony of a forest settling in for the night.

The central Pennsylvania town of Mount Gretna is a throwback to the period more than a century ago when the summertime get-togethers known as Chautauquas were practically a craze.
