This is one of the standout events in the Charleston area and definitely worth adding to your list. Set along the waterfront with the iconic Ravenel Bridge and Cooper River as the backdrop, this family-friendly festival celebrates the Lowcountry’s deep-rooted fishing traditions. A highlight of the day is the Blessing of the Fleet and shrimp boat parade, where local shrimp boats are honored with a ceremonial send-off for a safe and prosperous season.
