{Museum Love} Never underestimate the power of visiting cool museums! We are back from dropping off Williams College & had a wonderful time visiting The Clark & MASS MoCA! We have some books in the shop now that are inspired by our visit to Massachusetts. Hope to share them with you soon!

{August Shop Break} We’re closing the shop for the rest of August so we can take to college all the way over to the east coast. We’ll be back in the shop on September 4th with new inspiration & looking forward to seeing some smiling faces. Oh boy, here we go……

{Calling All Makers} Many of you comment on the lovely quilt in the shop (made by ) showcasing my patterns & have asked about where to get the fabric. I’m happy to share that you can now get fat quarters of my fabric in the shop!

{Rainy Shop Day} I’ve been waiting to open up my pair of the house socks & today seemed like the perfect day to get cozy & find a good book.
There are so many things going on downtown tomorrow!

{Breadfarm Love} We have been fans of the for a looonnggg time. When was a toddler, we’d get shortbread from Renee at the farmer’s market every week. I made a thread drawn wheat design for Breadfarm tees over 10 years ago (that is still in Chris’ rotation). I’m thrilled to be working with Renee again- find the new Breadfarm tea towel in our shop & at the Breadfarm in Edison!

{Cardboard Couple} Chris just finished a “Pippi” inspired head in his 3-D design class last quarter at SVC - she's now in our window. Before she found her new spot, we had to take her on an adventure- & Union block bistro was the first trip. Yes, we really do entertain ourselves in our studio/shop. 😊

{The Micro Gallery} we are show casing a drawing project from the art department this month! is teaching drawing this summer and this project is the “in class collaborative mystery drawing” using a grid & having students each draw 6” squares - working together with no idea what the drawing was going to be (working from squares of a photograph). We also have a few of Chris’s framed drawings of vintage fisher price toys on display as well
