Happy Winter Solstice everyone!
I have missed y'all so much! Life has been crazy busy the last three weeks. I started a new job as a delivery driver for an Amazon contractor.
It felt like my world fell apart last month. Things became more and more unsteady for a month, with me having worse and worse luck trying to find gigs to work online. Finally, I had to focus on providing what my soul really craved. Stability. Steady hours at a job, while I grow my business.
This job is incredibly hard, I have fallen and given myself a concussion, the hours are long, and physically demanding. With all of that, I still am incredibly grateful for this job.
So if you are feeling like you're going through it right now, here is what I have learned:
-Lean on the people that love you. If you're anything like me, you don't want to burden anyone with your problems. Tough it out alone until things get better. This only feeds the stress and loneliness. Your loved ones want to be there to support you. Don't suffer in silence.
-Keep up your spiritual practice! It's so easy when stressed to abandon smudging yourself, holding your crystals, taking baths, reading, whatever it is that re-aligns your soul, take the time out of your day to do it. Your mind will want to trick you into thinking you're too busy, it's a lie. You'll feel so better after doing your self care.
-Remember to ground yourselves. When you feel like you are starting to get too much in your head and stressing about possible outcomes, take a few seconds to firmly plant your feet into the ground, feel Mother Earth's love coursing through your feet and enveloping your entire body. Close your eyes, breathe Her energy in and release any stresses you may be having. If you are still feeling stressed, call in the Archangels Michael and Metatron to help take away and heal the stressors. You can do this anywhere! I have done it in the bathroom, standing on dirty asphalt by a gas pump and instantly felt so much better.
-Take a day to just relax. When we are stressed and in our heads, it feels like we have to spend each day checking items off our to do list, be constantly productive. Which just leads to more stress, burn out and feeling drained. In the natural world, there is balance in everything. When we honor the rhythm of balance in our lives, we feel at ease, relaxed, regulated nervous system and ready to swing on life's curve balls.
-Be gentle on yourselves! This is something that I constantly work on. Pay attention to your self talk. What has helped me is having an accountability partner (aka Joff) to check me when I am being hard on myself. If I am by myself and realize that I am holding myself to an impossible standard, I will gently encourage myself to be nicer. It has made such a difference. It's important to remember we are only humans and doing the best we can.
-Remember to nourish your physical body! Eat fruit, veggies, DRINK WATER, take your vitamins and supplements. Studies have shown when you are not drinking enough water, it activates your body into stress mode. Our body is our temple, our vehicle in this life, cherish it and treat it well. I definitely can tell when i have been neglecting my body, I feel off and not centered. Excuse me, while I take my own advice and go drink some water and take my supplements. Lol.
I am sending you all so much love and healing on this Winter Solstice. Extra healing energy if you're having a tough time right now. 🙌🏼
In the new year, I will be offering courses, opporunities to work 1 on 1 with me and so much more! Stay tuned, my loves. 💫
Happy Holidays! 🎄♥️✨
