I know we all have different opinions.
But isn't that part of the beauty of our country?
We have the freedom to be different from our neighbors. The freedom to look at life through different lenses. The freedom to disagree and the freedom to love each other anyway.

It is so easy to get caught up in the politics. To let them pin us against each other. But what if we didn't?

What if instead of a nation under crazy political leaders, we went back to being one nation under God?

This is the 4th flag I've had the honor of making, and I can't wait to have more ordered.❤️🤍💙

⭐️Winner's Choice-you choose whatever blanket you want, & I will make it. Examples of some I've made below, but you can send me any ideas you like.⭐️

First, let's introduce this quarter's charity: 🇺🇲 Southern Illinois Veterans Foundation

🪖SI Veterans Foundation is a non-profit oranization that aims to help veterans make connections and bring the community together to support them. They strive to remind veterans that they are not alone- that they have purpose and value even after their time in the military is completed.

🐕‍🦺👨‍👩‍👦‍👦They raise funds for programs like Roll 2 Heal & This ABLE Veteran by sponsoring properly trained service dogs for veterans in need and helping veterans feel supported by their community.

🎗The biggest statement that stood out to me when asking Sean Dillard about their program was, "The mission is taking veterans from the edge and giving them purpose again. The mission is bringing the veterans su***de rate down to 0."

He and his son will be rowing The Great Loop and eventually the Pacific Ocean to raise awareness for veterans mental health/su***de prevention. You can follow that journey on Oarsome Odyssey

⭐️If you don't have any interest in the blanket, but still want to help SI Veterans Foundation with their mission, you can still send a monetary donation, and I will send it also.

⭐️How will this raffle work?
🟣To enter comment below how many slots you would like to purchase! Each slot will be $10. You can purchase as many as you would like.
🟣Payment can be sent via PayPayl or Venmo with "Veteran Charity Raffle" as the memo. Add your payment preference to your comment, and I'll send my info in a pm. Once you have paid, your name will be added.
🟣There is NO limit of spots each person can purchase!
🟣If at least 15 slots have been purchased, ONE winner will be drawn Sunday, June 14th!

I have had a few people ask when my next blanket making class would be. So let's go!

🚨A minimum of 5 sign-ups will be needed in order to hold the class.

🕚🗓When/Where : Sunday June 28th from 1 p.m. until roughly 5 p.m. @ Waltonville Grade School Cafeteria.

🟣Ages 14+

💵$80/Person-yarn is expensive😅. All supplies will be included.🧶✂️.

🟣Message me to reserve your spot!
**They will be first come first serve, and will not be reserved until paid for. 💲I can take payment via PayPal or Venmo.
🧶Once you've paid, I will message you with yarn color options!

🧀🥤Food: I will supply a finger food & water. If you would like to bring drinks/snacks that is also encouraged.

🚨Sign-ups will close June 25th, unless the class is filled before then.
