Altus City Council reviewed a variety of agenda itens during their February meeting on Monday. Council members approved all department reports, minutes and financials. They tabled the first item of new business—the proposal to install an ATM machine at City Hall. Mayor Veronica Post said the proposal was tabled, to allow the city attorney to check into the matter. The second Item of new business, saw a resolution authorizing the Mayor to apply for a tourism marketing grant was approved. Post said if approved, it will allow the city to promote their Annual Springtime Gala, held the 2nd Saturday of May on radio and in regional newspapers.
