In the late nineteenth and early twentieth century, Andrew Carnegie donated over $40 million dollars to build libraries across the globe, and 164 were in Indiana. This week, the Indiana DNR Division of Historic Preservation & Archaeology is highlighting some of these Carnegie-funded libraries.

In 1901, the Muncie Library Board requested $50,000 for the construction of a library. This Neo-Classical building was constructed in 1903 and features a central dome that defines the interior space. The Muncie Public Library is listed in the National Register of Historic Places - NPS (NR-0107).

Working on our budget even though that was done in December, because we are trimming it back further!! We aren’t playing with our money man!! If we can trim it we are!! 
You never know if something will come up and believe me it will and it has. You need to try to develop a cushion with your funds. We are currently building our cushion back up.

Busy Day… It’s my kiddos bestest friend’s birthday today so we got to get ready and surprise this kiddo later. He’s such a sweet kiddo. My son is so excited and happy for him. It’s all he talks about. Special Day alert. 🚨
