update on Colorado.
-I sat by myself on the first day and saw 5 bears, which all came back at least 10 times. I then said heck no and started sitting with my dad (yes i’m a child I DONT CARE.)
-Day 6 Dad has this bright idea to hike to this pond-let me tell you- it was thick nasty and heck to get too. ( AND I GOT STUNG BY BEES NOT ONCE BUT TWICE) did i mention that this was all my dad’s bright idea to go around the bees nest? 😂 his exact words “awe Jaylnn they won’t mess with you” as I’m getting stung. BUT. as fate would have it , he decided to find a shorter path to this “pond” and ended up getting in another bees nest and got stung 15 times😂😂 so then we get to this so called “pond” and on the way out we nearly died trying to climb the mountain. it was so steep you were sliding down trying to go up😀😀 then we get lost, AT DARK IN THE WOODS IN COLORADO WITH BEARS. (I wanted to cry, but if you know my dad.. don’t) and it was nearly my fault we got lost because I didn’t cut the little tree snags to find our way out😅😅 whoops. But needless to say dad soon figured out that wasn’t the pond for him🙏🙏🙌
-Then after all that, I went today and bought a bear tag Phyllis Gates I promise to try to not get eaten alive.
Overall; Even if we don’t tag out on elk or bear, this trip has been nothing but memorable and unforgettable ❤️
