Starting with a basic Honda 70 dirt bike. Quickly advancing into motocross, custom cars, drag racing, street bikes, desert and mountain off road riding , and now local and cross country touring with my daughter and dog Apache. I've additionally survived an incident being run down as a pedestrian , narrowly pushing my daughter to safety. The injuries from this and other incidents from over the year

s bring us to where/and who I am now. This page will discuss riding, travel, equipment testing, safety and safety gear, restaurants and fun sites along the way. As I'm a two-time Cancer survivor we will support cancer patients and research through events as well as our support for Veterans. Although I currently ride two different Harley's, it is about the freedom and peace it brings, the friends we make, and experiences we have along the way. I invite you to join us along the way on our journey. We invite questions you may have along the way-
Enjoy the opportunities you have today, for tomorrow is promised to no one.

Near Miss on our Harley

Not every crash is metal-on-metal.
Some are in your head...

November 2022, riding with my wife.
Car almost took us out, she never slowed down
I bailed so hard I nearly made a coffee shop a new drive-through.

No impact… but it shook her.
She doesn’t ride with me much now.

I get it.
She won’t risk both of us gone and our daughter alone.

That’s the thing about near-misses—
sometimes they don’t leave marks on you,
but they leave marks on the people who love you.

Sometimes the best ride has no destination-

Lots of pain the last few days making the trip to Duke

Had to get some peace in my head, couldn’t deal with the ultra- too much today

This helped ….

Might as well service it now as well since shes warmed up

Anyone needing to get theirs ready for the season I’ll provide a link below to one of my partner suppliers. Full disclosure , i do get a small piece back which helps us keep going and producing this page with support for those fightingcancer or disabilities

Out enjoying some decent weather

So as someone who’s been into all types of action motorsports since I was a child I love checking out all places across the country still involved

So it should be no surprise I can’t pass a racetrack without stopping

Who else uses these as an excuse to add miles???

Had to make a trip to Duke Neurology for my injuries.

On the way back someone was hungry.

In the little town of Pittsboro, NC we came across this great little Italian restaurant

Aptly named, it made sense. Turned out to be an excellent choice!

Seems every local and state officer agree as many were there and many more came on shift rotations while were there.

If your riding the old 501 passing through central NC this is a great choice for a meal

When cruising through Surfside Beach check this out

Coffee and Bakery, with lots of room inside

Coffee was good and Chocolate Croissant even better. Apache the servicedog approved, not the chocolate of course.

Well worth a visit if you’re looking for coffee , a light treat, or just a spot to visit with friends. Int the middle of everything

Took a little 197 mile ride for lunch yesterday

I kept hearing about this diner in a middle of nowhere that been around since the 40’s

So off i went on a beautiful Valentine’s Day to finally check it out

And man was it worth it!

Ruth’s Diner in Hartsville, SC is off the beaten path.

But not far from Darlington if you venturing to one of the tracks or museum

The food was exactlywhat i was hoping for.

I had a half hot with mushrooms and gravy ( on the fries too)

But even better was the owner and her staff.

I had duch an enjoyable conversation with them. Beyond hospitality , truly friendly , personable.

If you’re traveling anywhere close, it’s worth deviating out of the way gor this one.

Stay safe all!

So last night we stopped in the Beaver Bar for their all you can eat fish fry.

Funny , when my daughter’s there they always want to talk with her.

When Apache’s there that all want to talk with him….

We enjoyed the dinner, and Apache enjoyed the attention as always!

Been waiting quite a while for this.

A real game changer for anyone with injuries, loss of strength, or just getting older.

Whether you still ride alone, or with a passenger.
