This organization has meant the difference between being stuck at home and being able to access our community for so many.

An important update for our community:
Beginning Friday, July 17, 2026, Renew Mobility is pausing all equipment placement and equipment service, and we will no longer be accepting equipment donations.

Our office will also be closed starting on this date — this is an indefinite pause for our operations.

We know this affects many people in our community who count on us and on mobility to thrive every day. If you’re looking for resources during this time, please visit our community resources page for a list of local providers who may be able to help during this time.

The Renew Mobility staff and board of directors are working diligently to limit the length of this pause, and we’ll share updates as we have them.

TL;DR - Never say never. Unless it is to say: never stop learning, never stop growing, or never stop challenging yourself.

I always said that I never wanted to be a teacher.

But as of today, my opinion on this may have changed.

Today I stepped back into the classroom at Baker College of Muskegon, not as a student but as an instructor. An instructor in the Physical Therapist Assistant program that I graduated from in 2012.

What I have learned is to keep your options open, welcome connections and conversations, and most importantly, I (and you) can do hard things!!
