Time: 2:41 PM on 11/17/25
On November 17, 2025, at approximately 2:41 p.m., Muskegon Central Dispatch received a 911
call from a female in the 2300 Block of Hoyt Street, who stated she had found a relative who
was bleeding.

Muskegon Heights Police, Muskegon Heights Fire, and Trinity Health EMS were
dispatched to the scene. Upon officers' arrival on the scene, a female victim was located with
severe injuries.
The victim was pronounced deceased on scene.
Detectives from the Muskegon Heights Police Department, Michigan State Police MMCI Task
Force along with the Michigan State Police Crime Lab out of the Grand Rapids Post were called
to the scene.

Detectives are actively working the scene and speaking with family members and
witnesses.

There is no further information at this time, and Muskegon Heights Police request that anyone
