🚨 COMMUNITY UPDATE FROM MUSKEGON HEIGHTS POLICE 🚨

On Saturday, November 22nd at 11:09 AM, Muskegon Heights Police responded to a shooting on the 2500 block of Wood St. Officers arrived within minutes and provided immediate aid to the victim, who was later transported to Trinity Health Muskegon with serious injuries.

Thanks to a quick description of the suspect and strong teamwork across multiple departments — Muskegon Heights PD, Muskegon PD, Norton Shores PD, Roosevelt Park PD, and Michigan State Police — the suspect was located near Getty & Broadway and taken into custody shortly after 11:20 AM.

The suspect is now lodged at the Muskegon County Jail pending charges.
This incident is another example of Muskegon County law enforcement agencies working together to keep our community safe.
