Guys the city needs more money to fund the things they assumed the data center would be responsible for funding. (This in response to Muskogee citizens being ticketed on Westside)
What the greedy losers who sold us upriver with no paddle did not comprehend during planning phase was the fact that data centers are neither lucrative nor profitable until long after the construction is completed.
They promised the people a new water treatment plant (they assumed would be funded by the data centers) however the data centers agreed only to reimburse the city of muskogee for the construction of the plant SHOULD they become profitable ALL WHY GETTING TAX CUTS .
Funny thing about it is though🤔 DATA CENTERS ARE NOT PERMITTED BY LAW TO BECOME OPERABLE WITHOUT A FULLY FUNCTIONAL WATER TREATMENT PLANT.
The city of Muskogee is best and brightest took a gamble at the expense of it's citizens .
Sales tax increase
Raised utility rates
Higher rent due to population influx
Population increase brings about more crime HAVE YOU NOTICED THE UPTICK?
Your paying for a program that grants tech savvy job seekers from out of state to buy nice houses. If qualified applicants are granted 10 000 towards their mortgage/down payment.
Why not grant thepeople that lived here and owned a home for years some aid towards the upkeep for these homes? That would improve the aesthetic of the city as well as keep people in safe homes that don't burn to the ground making our city's look like s**t and endanger the citizens?
These prostitutes need to make that cash fast before deadline ( just before the end of summer) be cause if the gamble doesn't pay off they bankrupt the city and everyone's f**ked...but if it does payoff the city gets reimbursed and only the citizens get screwed.
They get to ski in Aspen and sail on their yacht while your stuck here living in pollution and squalor with rivers bone dry,and water you wash/ with poisoned The only payoff for the average Muskogee citizen will be timed showers, cancer and higher cost of living by and hella fu***ng traffic. All so they can force you into a tech surveillance smart city cage like they rats they see us all as.
This s**t is just the start. They gonna charge your card faster than even Amazon does for jaywalking because AI STREET CAM ROBOT SNITCH turned you in and your ass isn't gonna find out until that snickers bar and roll of toilet paper you tried to buy pop up INSUFFICIENT FUNDS or they collect you on a warrant you had no knowledge of for unpaid tickets you likely weren't aware of.
